•Dec 13, 2025Looking for some opinions on both of these kinds of optics, not for carry but for a range and outdoor gun. I have an SRO on my G17L that I got a few weeks ago. I’ve put ~500 rounds through it since then, yesterday had some debris get in front of the emitter and start projecting a dimmer dot to the right of the actual dot. Not a huge deal obviously, but it made me wonder if closed emitter for shooting primarily outdoors is a better idea over the open emitter styles. Mainly looking for input from ...

Went with the RCR + Guardian combo instead of the RMR HD. I'm happy with my decision
