Hey guys, I just built a G63K with a parts kit from HK parts and a receiver from S5. But I'd really like to drop in an FRT. Who makes them?

•Dec 13, 2025I recently picked up a SL8-1 (KK date code, so if I'm not mistaken its a 1999). Its labeled as .223 remington on the receiver, but I'm hearing it can also shoot 5.56x45 just fine? Is this true or am I going to accidentally go kaboom? I know US made guns labeled .223 remington can only strictly shoot .223, is German engineering/specs different? Let me know if you do know, id greatly appreciate it. Thanks all! Happy to join the HK club finally.
